First off, let’s be clear: Officially, legally, totally-on-the-up-and-up *free*? That’s kinda tricky. They want you to subscribe, duh. But, and this is a BIG but, there are… avenues.
The text I just read says Cartoon Network’s website MIGHT have some episodes or even seasons streaming. Emphasis on *might*. Websites change all the time, and let’s be honest, sometimes finding what you want on those network sites is like navigating a trash compactor. Good luck with that, seriously.
Then there’s the “on demand” thing. The blurb mentions Disney+, Amazon, Vudu. “On demand” usually means you gotta rent or buy. So, not free. Misleading, I know! Sorry ’bout that.
Now, here’s where things get… interesting. I’m not gonna tell you to do anything illegal, okay? But let’s just say the internet is a vast and, uh, *untamed* place. There *might* be… other websites where you *could* hypothetically find full episodes. I’m not saying go looking! Just… be aware they exist, if you catch my drift. Use Google at your own discretion.
Also, and I’m just throwing this out there, keep an eye out for special promotions. Sometimes streaming services offer free trials. You could binge-watch a bunch of Clone Wars and then cancel before they charge you. Just remember to *actually* cancel, or you’ll be kicking yourself later. Been there, done that, bought the overpriced t-shirt.
Personally, I think Clone Wars is totally worth paying for. The animation is gorgeous, the stories are actually really good (especially the later seasons!), and Ahsoka Tano is a total badass. But I also understand wanting to save a few bucks.
Oh! And if you *do* manage to find it somewhere (ahem), make sure you watch it in the right order. Seriously, don’t just jump in randomly. It’s a bit of a mess, chronologically. There are a billion “best watch order” guides online, just pick one that looks good to you. I’d recommend starting with the early seasons and powering through, even if they’re a little rough around the edges. Builds character, y’know?
